Cancun!

Mexico was awesome! SO relaxing and a much needed vacation. There were 13 of us that went and we were there for 5 days. Our resort was perfect. It was an all-inclusive and right on the beach with great rooms, food, drinks, etc. There were 5 restaurants and 3 bars. No Mexican restaurants. Go figure! There was Japanese, seafood/pasta, American, etc but no Mexican. We had to come back to CO to get some but everything we had there was amazing! No complaints here! We slept in everyday. We would have coffee in our room and then get our swimsuits on and go down for breakfast. We spent the afternoon relaxing on the beach and playing in the ocean and drinking yummy drinks. Took a nap in the late afternoon and then showered and got ready for the day =) We had dinner with our group every night and then would go to one of the resort bars for more yummy drinks and fun.
We missed Taylor like crazy but I didn't cry once. Much better then I thought I would do. I knew she was in good hands. She loves my mom and was such a good girl while we were gone.

We had such a great time and want to go back soon!!! Who's coming with us?

When the sea turtles lay their eggs on the beach the locals (professionals) dig them up and re-bury them in a safe location then when they hatch they release them. We were lucky enough to watch them hatch and then help release them the last night we were there. Doing this increases their chance of living by 80%. It was an amazing experience. They were so cute.

It only rained for about 10 minutes the entire time we were there and we got caught in it. We were completely drenched. This was on our way to the sister resort for lunch.

Where does time go?

I can't believe our baby is 1! It's crazy how fast time goes! Taylor is a busy busy little girl and keeps me on my toes! It seems like she learns something new everyday. Right now she is obsessed with the tupperware cupboard (and all the other cupboards/doors) and I find it strung all over the house :) She's walking like a pro and on the verge of running. She starting to say more words and use her sign language. She is a great eater and will eat anything you put in front of her. She has such a sweet personality and loves to snuggle with her babies. This is such a fun age. I love this little girl more than anything!
