HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!

So...John turned the BIG 3-0 last week. Yikes...he's getting old! He had to work on his birthday but Taylor and I met him for lunch and we had a nice family dinner that night. We threw a party/bbq at our house for him on Saturday. We had 36 wonderful friends and family that came. We played some lawn games, ate lots of food and enjoyed everyone's company. Thanks to all of you who made it. You're the best! Of course I forgot to take pics of the party but took a couple that night after most everyone had left.

10 Months

I can't believe my baby is 10 Months old! She's at such a fun age right now. We're loving every minute of it. She's such a good mommy's helper and follows me around everywhere. Usually taking the laundry out of the dryer that I just put in or taking the dishes out of the dishwasher or unfolding the clothes that I just folded. What a good helper!
She's just about ready to walk. She's still walking all over the house with the help of her little push toy and she'll stand on her own until she realizes that no one is holding onto her. It won't be long now...Yikes! She's such a sweet girl. She loves to give kisses and high fives, clap her hands and do "SO BIG!". She'll entertain anybody who is willing to watch her. She's quite the clown.

4th of July

We had a pretty low-key 4th this year. We spent the day shopping and working on our house then that night we watched fireworks in Longmont with some great friends.

On Friday night Taylor stood up behind this toy and took off. She's been going non-stop since. It won't be long now. I'm in trouble!!! :)

Wildflowers

We took a walk on Thursday and found a field of wildflowers. Taylor loved them!

CATCHING UP...finally!!!

Okay...so I haven't posted anything since March so I had lots to catch up on. We've been so busy with painting and moving and everything else going on that this got put on the back burner but I'm all caught up now and I'll be better from here on out (promise!). 9 Months

Taylor is 9 Months Old!! It's crazy how fast it goes. She's developed quite the personality and keeps us laughing daily. She's a very busy girl and has lots of energy. She's crawling all over the place and is into EVERYTHING! She pulls herself up on anything she can and walks around as long as she's holding onto something. She's very close to walking on her own. Yikes...I don't know if I'm ready for that. She's such a sweet girl and is very easy going. She learned how to give kisses last week so we've been getting lots of wet, sloppy ones the past few days. :) She still likes to eat anything she can get her hands on (except mashed potatoes) and gets very upset if you don't share what you are eating.
Her 9 Month check-up went great. She now weighs 19 lbs (50th percentile) and she's 27.5" tall (also 50th percentile). She's just perfect!

Okay...so Aunt Jenni couldn't resist and bought this dress for Taylor. It's super cute! Not sure when she'll ever get any use out of it but it sure looks beautiful hanging in her closet! Love you Aunt Jenni!

Buddies

Here's some pics of Taylor and her buddy/cousin Xander. They are so cute together. X- takes such good care of her (when he's not stomping on her leg or pulling on her arms) by always bringing her toys and blankets, etc. Super cute!
