This year we felt incredibly blessed to be living here and not have to travel for Christmas. It was really nice to be able to start our own traditions and relax and enjoy our time off from work. We had my parents over for dinner on Christmas Eve. After dinner we had cupcakes to celebrate baby Jesus' birthday (baby Jeez as Taylor says).

After cupcakes, we went to Spirit of the Hills wildlife sanctuary for the live nativity. I only got a couple of pictures and of course forgot to take a pic of the most important part :)
After we got home from the nativity we came home and opened a couple gifts, had some wine and watched Polar Express. It was a perfect night.
