Holiday Express

We decided to take Taylor on the Holiday Express this year.  It was a super fun experience. We met some friends down there and boarded the train with our special Holiday Express tickets. Taylor has always been scared of Santa, Easter Bunny, anything dressed up in costume so we didn't know how she would react but we talked a lot about it and she seemed excited. The elves served us cookies and hot chocolate as we headed towards the "North Pole". That area is beautiful so it made the train ride even more fun. As we reached the "North Pole" we saw Santa standing out there waving at us. They had some buildings set up and strung with lights. It was a little cheesy but Taylor thought it was pretty cool. Santa got on the train and started making his rounds, talking to all the kids. Taylor saw him coming and didn't hesitate for a second when he asked her what she wanted for Christmas. He gave her a jingle bell and took a quick picture before moving on. Then Mrs. Clause came around and gave us all candy canes. It was a fun family memory and I hope to do it again when the next baby is a little older.
